When I walk the halls of the Animal Shelter the eyes behind the bars plead. Most look with eager curiosity and some wish to play. Others no longer make eye contact and have withdrawn into themselves- hope fading dim. To make a difference and to help find a home for those pets who have been so overlooked is my fondest hope. Maybe - just maybe - there is a chance for a fairy tale ending for a deserving pet that nobody else seems to notice. A pet who has begun to lose hope. It is my dearest hope that in the end I will have made a difference....
